Julie Chen Moonves hosted the popular summer reality show Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd season on August 5. Chen Moonves had been the first of The Talk's hosts. She was moderating and hosting the show since 2010 to the year the year 2018. She was a writer before becoming host, however her true desire was to write. It actually won her an Emmy. She also won an Emmy award for her outstanding host of a talk program. The Talk examines contemporary events, through the lens of five hosts. After 9/11 she went to Cairo for a fascinating and informative interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news show that profiles celebrities such as Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter, who has interviewed stars like Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was a reporter with WDTN TV Dayton located in Dayton Ohio (1995-1997). She worked as a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the network's affiliate news service, and she was a desk assistant in ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991), while finishing her senior year at the University of Southern California. Her first time working in broadcasting, as a Desk Assistant on ABC News' late-night show Nightline featuring Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is still one of her favorite journalists. Chen Moonves was Koppel's co-worker for Anatomy of a Riot (the Columbia du-Pont-winning Primetime Special that focused on how the Los Angeles riots of 1992).
